JOB OBJECTIVE

  • Responsible for the establishment and implementation of plans and programs of the special equipment and substation facilities for an effective inspection, monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Responsible for devising strategies to minimize forced outages and reduce technical losses.

TAKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs and implements plans and programs for an effective and efficient operation of the substations, line and metering equipment.
  • Recommends procedures for the establishment of a testing program for substations and line equipment.
  • Directs and supervises the conduct of periodic inspection, calibration and predictive maintenance of the backbone line equipment and substations including individual equipment and device connected to them such as power and distribution transformers, voltage regulators, air / vacuum / gas circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, capacitors, control and metering equipment, and the like.
  • Conducts system voltage and current monitoring.
  • Supervises the activities of the meter laboratory such as the calibration and testing of kilowatthour meters and instrument transformers to make sure that they conform to the cooperative’s accuracy standard.
  • Ensures the adequacy and conditions of work tools and equipment and recommends appropriate action.
  • Keeps and safeguards records and documents of the section.
  • Prepares requisition vouchers for materials needed by the section.
  • Supervises employees of the section, evaluates their performances and recommends training for professional advancement.
  • Ensures observance of safety rules.
  • Prepares annual budget of the Division.
  • Ensure that rewound and repaired special equipment conforms to the accepted standards.
  • Evaluates and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
  • Performs other reasonable and related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Registered Electrical Engineer 
  • At least four (4) year experience in the operation, maintenance and testing of substation and line equipment.
  • Must have a professional driver’s license
  • Must have knowledge on Philippine Electrical Code, Philippine Grid and Distribution Code and other related Regulations issued by ERC.
  • Knowledge on the Retail Electricity Suppliers.
  • Knowledge on the Distribution System Protection
  • Certificate on competency Program on Distribution System Modeling and Analysis
  • Certificate on competency Program on Distribution system Protection
  • Good human relations and interpersonal skill
  • Fluent in oral and written communication in English, Filipino and in the dialect used in the area
  • Demonstrates disciplined and organized work habits
  • Shares the vision and mission of the cooperative, and demonstrates behavior consistent with the cooperatives core values.
  • Resident within the franchise area

JOB OBJECTIVE

  • Provide the Cooperative with a study on the adequate revenue requirement for the Cooperative’s financial viability by engaging added services and other revenue, and marketing activities during the IMEM, WESM, open access, and Retail Electricity Supply.
  • Develops retail electric rates to meet utilities revenue requirements, and prepares utility rate analyses, forecasts, and technical cost of service studies for review by the Management.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts complex and specialized rate design studies including cost-of-service, rate of return on investment, and tariff structure equity.
  • Develops and recommends proposed rate changes to the Manager to endure a favorable financial position for electric rates; assists in the preparation of written technical reports on rate changes of electricity upon approval by ERC, implements rate and regulation changes.
  • Ensures that rate design policies are consistent with sound business, financial, and economic principles and follow ERC orders
  • Provide technical rate-making assistance to the Energy Trading Supervisor
  • Conduct study to ensure true cost recovery
  • Assists in the preparation of the utility’s annual budget, develops sales and revenue forecasts on electricity
  • Assists in planning and conducting cost-effective studies of innovative rate design such as time-of-use rates, and wheeling rates.
  • Assists in the preparation of data and testimony for the presentation of important issues as well as rate changes to the ERC
  • Monitors rate and regulatory rulings of regulatory agencies, and informs the Management on trends in “changes in the art of remaking” and legislation that affects operations
  • Participates and works with other government agencies and EC’s or organizations on technical studies to achieve goals of mutual benefit and need
  • Participates in developing and administering rate contracts with customers as needed.
  • Develop rates on another revenue requirement.                                                                        
  • Prepares rate analyses, forecasts and technical cost of service traded during the IMEM, WESM, or open access.
  •  Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of Statistics, Economics, or any Business related course
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Preferably with a background on the electric power industry and knowledge of policies and regulations applicable to ECs and the industry
  • Resident within the franchise area

  • Ability to work independently on diverse projects
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essentials of the job
  • Must be proficient in written and oral communication skills and adept in business correspondence

JOB OBJECTIVE

  • Responsible for the implementation of proper delivery of Information to various internal and external stakeholders ensuring proper dispatch to concerned units, maintains logs, and monitors, and providing appropriate feedback and reports.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts timely, accurate, and responsive information dispatch in support of the Cooperative’s Operations pertaining to Load Dispatch, Coordinative Information During Power Interruptions, and data gathering for load forecasting.
  • Conducts proper dispatch of consumer request and complaints to proper implementing units and provide responsive and timely recording and feedback mechanism using radio, telephone, and short messaging communication systems.
  • Operates the Communications Systems (Radio, Telephone, and Short Messaging System) of the Cooperative
  • Tests Communication Systems and reports defects in connectivity and applications for immediate repair and restoration
  • Receives calls from Consumers and Internal Customers, maintains logs, and dispatch information to concerned units
  • Attends to customer requests and complaints
  • Provides Feedback to Customers and other stakeholders on requests and complaints
  • Gathers data required for load forecasting
  • Summarizes data from customer requests and complaints
  • Prepares Job Orders and dispatch to the Line Crews
  • Broadcasts Short Messaging Systems
  • Coordinates with Line Crew during Power Interruption works and ensures proper protocol on communication during operations
  • Checks and evaluates billings of TELCO’s  and internet service providers and process timely request for payments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate in Communication-related courses
  • Must have at least 1 year related experience preferably in Customer Care
  • Adept in the latest Communication Systems Operations
  • Resident within the franchise area

  • Computer Literate
