Bisan pa adunay pagtaas sa variable cost sa atong mga IPPs, labi na ang mga presyo sa merkado kon Wholesale Electricity Spot Market, gikonsidera sa Energy Regulatory Commission ang epekto sa pagtaas sa WESM prices sa generation rate nga ipasa sa mga konsumidor sa kuryente, ug gigamit ang ilang gihatag nga police power authority ug gisugo ang mga DUs nga ipatuman ang usa ka staggered collection, diin sulod sa upat (4) ka bulan, sa WESM component sa atong generation charges nga naglangkob sa WESM purchases gikan Abril 26 hangtod Mayo 25, 2024. Ang nahibilin nga 75% sa Mayo 2024 Final Settlement Amount sa IEMOP pagkolektahon sa sunod nga tulo ka billing months – Hulyo 25, 2024, Agosto 25, 2024, ug Septyembre 25, 2024. Kini nga pamaagi nakapahinay sa pagtaas sa generation rate para sa Hunyo 2024.
