Pursuant to Proclamation No. 90, the Malacaรฑang Palace declares Monday, 28 August 2023 as a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of the National Heroes Day.
As we celebrate National Heroes Day, let us pay tribute to heroes of history and those among us today. Let us not forget the hardships and their dedication to the pursuit of freedom and justice, which eventually contributed to our countryโs freedom and progress, our national heroes reminds us of the unwavering resilience that we Filipinos have.
And also to our modern-day heroes that dedicated their lives in saving our people and who works day and night, and making sure we have lights in our nights and in attempt to keep our nation peaceful and thriving.
To our modern day heroes serving selflessly on the frontlines, Happy National Heroes Day to all of you!.
