MORESCO-1 Joins the Nation in the November 2025 Observances of National Children’s Month and Filipino Values Month

This November 2025, MORESCO-1 proudly commemorates two important national observances — the National Children’s Month and the Filipino Values Month — both highlighting the nation’s commitment to nurturing and protecting the Filipino child and promoting the timeless values that define our people.

In observance of Republic Act No. 10661, otherwise known as the “National Children’s Month Act,” the Department of Education leads the 33rd National Children’s Month celebration with the theme:
“OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”

This year’s campaign calls for stronger collective action to end Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and the spread of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (OSAEC-CSAEM) — issues that threaten the safety, dignity, and rights of every Filipino child. The celebration reminds us of our shared duty to protect the young and to create safe, supportive spaces for their growth and development.

At the same time, we also celebrate Filipino Values Month 2025, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 479, s. 1994, which enjoins all Filipinos to uphold the moral, spiritual, and cultural values that strengthen our national identity.

With the theme:
“Kagandahang-Loob, Katotohanan, at Bayanihan: Pundasyon ng Makabuluhang Pagkatuto at Matatag na Sambayanan,” this year’s observance encourages every Filipino to embody kindness, truth, and community spirit — values that nurture meaningful learning and build resilient, compassionate communities.

Let us live out these virtues every day — by being kind, truthful, and helpful, at home, in school, and in our workplaces. Together, let us show the true heart of a Filipinomaalalahanin, matapat, at handang maglingkod! ????????????

MORESCO-1’s RAFEA Holds “Golden Care Day” — A Heartwarming CSR for Senior Citizens

LAGUINDINGAN, Misamis Oriental — October 30, 2025.

The MORESCO-1 Rank and File Employees Association (RAFEA) successfully staged its first-ever Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity dedicated to senior citizens, dubbed “GOLDEN CARE DAY,” held at the Laguindingan Covered Court.

In celebration of Senior Citizens’ Month, RAFEA extended its care and appreciation to the elderly community through a day of pampering, wellness, and heartfelt interaction.

The event featured free haircuts, massages, and hair coloring services, courtesy of volunteer barbers, massage therapists, and RAFEA ladies. More than just grooming and relaxation, the initiative became a meaningful avenue to express gratitude and respect for the invaluable contributions of our Lolos and Lolas in the community.

In his message, RAFEA President Engineer Michael Jason Estrera expressed gratitude to all participants and volunteers who made the activity possible.

“Activities like this affirm our association’s role not only in promoting employees’ welfare but also in building a culture of collaboration and mutual respect within and outside the organization,” Estrera shared.

The Golden Care Day marks a milestone for RAFEA as it broadens its outreach beyond the workplace, strengthening MORESCO-1’s commitment to community service and compassion.

As the event concluded, laughter, music, and the warm smiles of the elderly reflected the true spirit of the celebration — that care knows no age, and service shines brightest when shared. ????
