MORESCO-1, LAGUINDINGAN – Sen. Imee Marcos receives a warm welcome from provincial and local officials led by Congressman Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano, Laguindingan Mayor Diosdado Obsioma; Opol Mayor Jay Francis B. Bago; Naawan Mayor Dennis L Roa; Manticao Mayor Stephen Tan; Tagoloan Mayor Nadia Emano Elipe; Provincial Board Member Yvy Beja-Emano and MORESCO-1 General Manager Jovel B. Senator Imee Marcos led the distribution of financial assistance to the beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program in a payout activity conducted today, July 20, at a MORESCO-1 covered court in the Emmanuel Pelaez Training Center (EPTC) here.

“Families were greatly affected by the pandemic in the last two years. After the pandemic, prices of prime commodities also increased that added burdens to us,” Marcos said.

She added that the release of the AICS assistance, through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), will aid families who are in financial difficulties as a result of the increase in the prices of fuel and other basic commodities.

The AICS payout is an initiative of the second Congressional District of Misamis Oriental with the help of Sen. Marcos,” Congressman Emano said.

He thanked Sen. Marcos for the continued support to the province and for personally gracing the AICS payout. (Text: Archibald G. Pacana, CPRO | Photos, Videos: Christian Navarro, PCRO – ISD, MORESCO-1)
