M1 execs paid courtesy call to Lugait, Manticao and Gitagum chief executives

August 24, 2022. — MORESCO-1 executives headed by General Manager Engr. Jovel B. Ubay-ubay paid a courtesy call to the newly-installed mayors of Lugait and Manticao, Misamis Oriental to update them of the ongoing programs and services being implemented by the electric cooperatives and to offer support to the local government units’ programs specifically on the delivery of reliable electric service.

With GM Ubay-ubay, were Manticao Service Area Manager Engr. Dominique C. Asok, MORESCO-1’s Member Customer Development Chief Rio M. Vallejo and Corporate Public Relations Officer Archibald G. Pacana and was joined by Manticao Director Engr. Bernard R. Benavidez in its Manticao leg of visit. The M1 party collectively expressed its pleasure to update not only current and future projects of MORESCO-1 focusing on reliable and sustainable power but also on how both parties can mutually benefit on their shared directions under their new leadership and in the province.

MORESCO-1 GM Ubay-ubay mentioned the continuance of the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) of the government, reported as well some jurisdictional and boundary concerns in some areas and how MORESCO-1 fosters its community and public relations participatory and partnership governance with LGUs and its affiliations with communal activities in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs with the following 4Es: Environment, Education and Health, Economic Empowerment and Entertainment.

Living up with its pioneering nature, MORESCO -1 vows to continue to take the lead in its missionary electrification thru partnerships with local government units. Even in the face of the highly competitive industry development, it will continue to bear the light of bringing economic development by lighting up the lives of people in the far-flung areas.
