Almeda and his party dropped by in the headquarters of the country’s first electric cooperative and met its officials and executive leadership collectively for the first time. With the NEA Administrator are Deputy Administrator for EC Management Services, Atty. Omar M. Mayo; Deputy Administrator for Technical Services, Engr. Ernesto O. Silvano Jr.; Chief of Staff, Atty. Luis Francisco T. Almeda; Atty. Alexander Paul T. Rivera; . Public Relations Chief, Ms. Ellen Fleur V. Bang-ay; Head Executive Assistant, Ms. Anna Clarisse V. Reyes; and NEA Board of Administrator Member, Mr. Agustin L. Maddatu. With the NEA Party is Hon. Rufus B. Rodriguez, Representative of the 2nd District of Cagayan de Oro City.
Board President Nonito M. Labis led the welcome and proudly reported the the NEA chief “the achievements of the EC, looking forward in a direction and success the EC endeavored to achieve which is to continue lighting up the homes our households and providing economic development to the enterprising members of MORESCO-1’s community.”
“It may be a tall order for MORESCO-1 to remain steadfast and innovative, being the country’s pioneer Electric Cooperative. However, with the help of the National Electrification Administration and its officers, we are confident that we can continue our mission.”, President Labis said.
