JUNE 2025 Elections – Alubijid, Naawan, Gitagum, and Lugait
SEPTEMBER 2025 Election – Laguindingan

Interested MCOs are advised to review the qualifications and disqualifications set by MORESCO-1 and NEA Guidelines before filing their Certificate of Candidacy (COC).

By virtue of MORESCO-1 Board Resolution No. 2025-0121-08, Series of 2025, entitled “Resolution Adopting the Proposed Dates of Schedule for the 2025 District Elections of MORESCO-1, Subject to the Approval of the National Electrification Administration (NEA),” and Board Resolution No. 2025-0319-19, Series of 2025, entitled “Resolution Seeking a Motion for Reconsideration to the National Electrification Administration (NEA) on the Extension of District Election for Laguindingan,” the NEA has approved the conduct of special elections in the following districts:
District VIII – Alubijid: June 7, 2025
District III – Naawan: June 14, 2025
District VI – Gitagum: June 21, 2025
District I – Lugait: June 28, 2025
District VII – Laguindingan: September 13, 2025
Elected Board Directors shall immediately assume office upon taking their oath and will serve the remaining portion of the three-year term. Regular elections will resume as scheduled under the MORESCO-1 By-Laws thereafter.

In observance of the National and Local Elections, all offices and paying stations of MORESCO-1 will be CLOSED on Monday, May 12, 2025. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
