Malacañang has declared June 6, 2025, Friday, a regular holiday in observance of Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, a major Muslim celebration.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared the holiday through Proclamation No. 911, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on May 21.
The date of the celebration was chosen based on the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos following the Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar.
Eid’l Adha is one of the two major Muslim holidays. It commemorates Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son as ordered by Allah.
With this update, MORESCO-1 Offices and entire Paying Stations | Facilities will be closed on June 6, 2025 , (though a few Pay Stations | Tellering Points will be OPEN in between these period of long weekend.
