Pursuant to Proclamation No. 90, the Malacañang Palace declares Monday, 28 August 2023 as a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of the National Heroes Day.

As we celebrate National Heroes Day, let us pay tribute to heroes of history and those among us today. Let us not forget the hardships and their dedication to the pursuit of freedom and justice, which eventually contributed to our country’s freedom and progress, our national heroes reminds us of the unwavering resilience that we Filipinos have.

And also to our modern-day heroes that dedicated their lives in saving our people and who works day and night, and making sure we have lights in our nights and in attempt to keep our nation peaceful and thriving.

To our modern day heroes serving selflessly on the frontlines, Happy National Heroes Day to all of you!.

MORESCO-1 joins the National Electrification Administration – Electric Cooperatives (NEA-EC) simultaneous tree planting and line clearing activity in celebration of the 14th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) and the 54th Anniversary of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) on August 24, 2023.

The activity was successfully conducted simultaneously at the districts of Opol, Manticao, Alubijid, Initao, Libertad and Talakag in Bukidnon, with the respective Community Development Officers – Palmero Ebonia, Maria Khem Coleman, Ricky Coles, Alberto V. Cohayco, Jovanne Yangyang and Marlene Pajaron together with active Member -consumer-owners (MCOs), MCO Councils, MORESCO-1’s CSR arm William T. Crisp Foundation, and different org in these barangays where about various seedlings of various trees,  were planted.
