📌JOB OBJECTIVE

• To ensure connectivity & integrity of all communication network of the Cooperative. • To administer appropriate use and protection of the Communications Network consistent with the specified requirements of the Cooperative and ensuring security of information running in the network. • To ensure that all hardware and infrastructure supporting the network are in accordance with proper specifications and of optimal use. • To ensure proper implementation of the maintenance program of hardware and infrastructure supporting the cooperative’s communication networks.

📌TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Conducts technological research and makes proposals for communication network infrastructures, including hardware requirements, to ensure network integrity and security and to enable continuing innovations to ensure responsiveness of the network. • Supervise the installation and ensures operational efficiency of all required communication network infrastructure • Formulates Network Maintenance program and ensure appropriate implementation to maintain connectivity and reliability 24/7. • Evaluates and assesses the efficiency, reliability and integrity of the Network and provides appropriate recommendations for timely management actions. • Ensures the effective, prudent and accountable use of network resources including bandwidth management by ensuring compliance to relevant policies, guidelines and procedures. • Oversees the engagement of internet service providers and ensures compliance to terms and provisions in the contract. • Assists the ICT Division Chief in the negotiation, securing agreements and oversee the contract for lease agreement of private properties utilized by the cooperative in the communication network systems. • Secures the network facility of the cooperative including appropriate protection from viruses. • Ensures that communication network access and user’s security levels are strictly implemented and in accordance to company policies and guidelines • Evaluates and recommends appropriate computer hardware specifications to all company users in accordance to the requirements of the job. • Assists the ICT Division Chief in the planning and implementation of Disaster Recovery preparedness for all ICT infrastructure, information systems and databases. • Acts as the Officer-In-Charge of the ICT Division in case of management directives in the absence of the ICT Division Chief • Submits reportorial requirements timely and completely. • Identifies staff development and training needs • Evaluates and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.• Assumes other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.


📌QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering • With 3-year experience in network administration and maintenance • Highly knowledgeable on current information technologies and trends • Adept knowledge on power industry operation • Resident within the franchise area

Due to the impending construction of the new MORESCO-1 Administration Building, the Laguindingan Service Area (LSA) will transfer its client-facing services to a temporary customer service facility located behind the Emmanuel Pelaez Training Center (EPTC) Building before the M1 Covered Court. All these are in the MORESCO-1 operations facility adjacent to MORESCO-1 headquarters.

MAO KINI ANG ATONG “POWER RATES UPDATE” alang sa atong mga RESIDENTIAL CONSUMERS para sa Billing Month sa Marso 2022 —-Php13.1346 /kWh

Adunay pagsaka sa presyo sa kuryente balor ug 1.1396 centavos kada kWh tungod kay ang Systems Loss Rate misaka ug Php 0.0070 /kWh ug ang Power Act Reduction Rate miubos ug 0.0228.Gusto natong ipahinumdom sa tanang mga MCOs nga ang taripa sa MORESCO-1 striktong ginapasubay ug gina-regulate sa Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). Maong ang atuang Power Bill Computation naka-base sa mga balaud nga gina-pagawas sa ERC, kung diin:

1. GENERATION, TRANSMISSION ug GOVERNMENT CHARGES – Ihan-ay kini isip mga “Pass-Through Costs”. Tungod kay ang MORESCO-1 usa ka non-stock, non-profit, service oriented nga kooperatiba sa serbisyo sa kuryente, dili kita pwede magpa-tubo. Kung unsa gayud ang tinuod ug tataw nga palit sa pag-angkat sa kuryente gikan sa mga Power Generation Companies, mga gasto sa atong pag-gamit sa mga High Voltage Power Lines sa NGCP para maabot ang gipang-angkat nga kuryente ni MORESCO-1 sa iyang mga substations ug ang buluwisan sa kuryente, mao lamang sab ang sukton ug walay bisan pila ka sentimo nga nadugang.
