It is with heartfelt thanks that we mark the end of Director Christoper G. Maagad’s service to the MORESCO-1 Board. Chris has been a studied and august voice in the Board’s deliberations. He has a great consideration for public trust and protection, high personal standards, and his passion is evidenced by his vast and ongoing involvement as the Treasurer of the Board grappling with the hardest issues facing the travails of the electric cooperative’s journey towards the modernization of its operations while still connected to the advocacy of the rural countryside’s missionary electrification program.
To simply express gratitude seems insufficient in this moment, but transitions often leave us at a loss for words as we consider all that has transpired.
Our board of directors actively support the day to day work at MORESCO-1, establishing the long-term vision and stability for the organization with a focus on policy development, community engagement in their respective districts, and in corporate social responsibility outreach.
To that end, while we are about to embark on an election of a new board member for Lugait District who perhaps like the leaving one the new one will replace, he will be ready to roll up his sleeves and look forward to making meaningful contributions on our board committees and out in the community.
And we are very thankful for Director Shaun Dave T. Perez who will transition off our board and towards a new endeavor in life. Thank you very much for all the wonderful times. See you.

Ang MORESCO-1 nahimo lamang COLLECTOR sa ubang taripa arun ibayad sa planta sa Generation sa sugang dagitab ug elektrisidad, sa NGCP ug buhis alang sa Gobyerno.

1. Pagtaas sa presyo sa kuryente nga atong gipalit sa mga planta (generation companies).
2. Pagmahal sa presyo sa coal (mineral) nga gigamit panugnod sa mga planta arun makagama ug kuryente tungod sa pag-ubos sa kantidad sa Piso batuk Dolyar.
3. Pag-ubos sa supply sa coal tungod sa paglimita sa mga nasud nga nagsupply niini.
4. Pag-ubos sa supply sa coal tungod apektado kini sa gyera sa Ukraine batok Russia.
