By virtue of MORESCO-1 Board Resolution No. 2025-0121-08, Series of 2025, entitled “Resolution Adopting the Proposed Dates of Schedule for the 2025 District Elections of MORESCO-1, Subject to the Approval of the National Electrification Administration (NEA),” and Board Resolution No. 2025-0319-19, Series of 2025, entitled “Resolution Seeking a Motion for Reconsideration to the National Electrification Administration (NEA) on the Extension of District Election for Laguindingan,” the NEA has approved the conduct of special elections in the following districts:
- District VIII – Alubijid: June 7, 2025
- District III – Naawan: June 14, 2025
- District VI – Gitagum: June 21, 2025
- District I – Lugait: June 28, 2025
- District VII – Laguindingan: September 13, 2025
Elected Board Directors shall immediately assume office upon taking their oath and will serve the remaining portion of the three-year term. Regular elections will resume as scheduled under the MORESCO-1 By-Laws thereafter.

- Advisory on the Independence of the Board of Directors and Officials of Electric Cooperatives
- Advisory on the Qualifications of a Director (Pursuant to Section 26-B)
District-specific calendars of election-related activities will be posted on the MORESCO-1 WebM1, official Facebook page, and other social media platforms. Additionally, relevant information and documentary requirements will be displayed in conspicuous areas within the concerned districts.
