Today morning, March 1st, MORESCO-1, along with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) of Laguindingan, local government units, firefighting agencies, and educational institutions, conducted a motorcade and various activities aimed at promoting fire prevention measures.

March was designated as Fire Prevention Month due to historical data indicating a surge in fire incidents during this period, as reported by the National Statistical Coordination Board.
The proclamation aimed to foster a culture of safety consciousness throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures such as caution, vigilance, sobriety, common sense, and respect for the law.
