📌JOB OBJECTIVE • Ensures correct load profile analyses necessary for the trading activities and distribution system requirement in compliance with the Grid and Distribution Code. • Conducts load analyses on available energy to meet utilities requirements and prepares load forecasts to include the special and key accounts consumer and technical cost-of-service studies.

📌TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Researches and analyzes relevant information on particular issues in the electric power industry specifically in compliance to the distribution and grid code; • Coordinates with the Power Quality Engineer, Service Area Managers for the forecast on the energy or demand power requirement to those captive members, Special or Key Account customers • Participates and works with other public agencies and utility groups or organizations on technical studies to achieve goals of mutual benefit and need. • Assists in developing load forecast for the contracts of electric service of a Key Account or special load customers as needed. • Conducts primary in-person and telephone interviews with the Service Area Managers or the customers for the potential changes in their power requirement. • Gathers economic and market information of customers, suppliers, competitor, government agencies power requirement, availability and capacity as applicable. • Recommends efficient energy trading requirement • Reviews and analyzes monthly transactions on load profile of the distribution and those traded in the market; • Provides correct and adequate forecast on power requirement for future procurement and marketing activities of power supply • Validates metering statement of account issued by a power supplier or system operator in coordination with the Distribution System Operator and the Economic and Rate Analyst and submit report on any erroneous billing issued by the power supplier at most 3 days upon receipt of the bill; • Updates and maintains data bank regarding energy purchase on hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual bases as well as weather and climatic conditions, with the corresponding hourly energy consumption with its equivalent cost. • Renders daily report on the demand and energy profile of the distribution and those traded in the market for the hourly previous day transactions to the Energy Trading Chief.

📌QUALIFICATIONS • Registered Electrical Engineer • At least 2-year of relevant experience • Preferably with background on electric power industry. • Proficient in written and oral communication skills and adept in business • Resident within the franchise area

📌COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS • Highly analytical and makes decisions as required by the job • Team-player and good people skills • Shares the vision and mission of the cooperative and demonstrates behavior consistent with the cooperatives core values.
