A program that has never been attempted before in the history of Corporate Social Responsibility, Pantawid Liwanag provided electricity bill subsidy to more than 3 million consumers across the country.

Now on its fourth phase, MORESCO-1 evolved its parameters on how to implement the program by approaching it in a much more compassionate and socially-relevant by choosing persons with disabilities (PWDs) as its recipients, while retaining the common objective of helping member consumer-owners mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

These photod were taken on September 20, 2021, where MORESCO-1’s Institutional Services personnel with the team from DSWD Region X, spearheaded the distribution of assistance funded by the Moresco-1’s advocacy partner, Ako Padayon, to almost 180 PWD beneficiaries from Libertad, Gitagum, Laguindingan and Alubijid.

MORESCO-1 Board President Nonito M. Labis with ISD Manager Edna Putian and respective community development officers from each district ensured the safe, secured and smooth run of the event.
