MORESCO-1 ADVISORY – FIVE DISTRICTS SET FOR 2025 DISTRICT DIRECTORS’ ELECTION

By virtue of MORESCO-1 Board Resolution No. 2025-0121-08, Series of 2025, entitled “Resolution Adopting the Proposed Dates of Schedule for the 2025 District Elections of MORESCO-1, Subject to the Approval of the National Electrification Administration (NEA),” and Board Resolution No. 2025-0319-19, Series of 2025, entitled “Resolution Seeking a Motion for Reconsideration to the National Electrification Administration (NEA) on the Extension of District Election for Laguindingan, the NEA has approved the conduct of special elections in the following districts:

  • District VIII – Alubijid: June 7, 2025
  • District III – Naawan: June 14, 2025
  • District VI – Gitagum: June 21, 2025
  • District I – Lugait: June 28, 2025
  • District VII – Laguindingan: September 13, 2025

Elected Board Directors shall immediately assume office upon taking their oath and will serve the remaining portion of the three-year term. Regular elections will resume as scheduled under the MORESCO-1 By-Laws thereafter.

  1. Official Announcement of District Elections
  2. Advisory on the Independence of the Board of Directors and Officials of Electric Cooperatives
  3. Advisory on the Qualifications of a Director (Pursuant to Section 26-B)

District-specific calendars of election-related activities will be posted on the MORESCO-1 WebM1, official Facebook page, and other social media platforms. Additionally, relevant information and documentary requirements will be displayed in conspicuous areas within the concerned districts.

RESIDENTIAL POWER RATES SA BULAN SA MARSO 2025 ——PHP 11.8006/kWh

Adunay kinatibuk-ang pagsaka sa residential rate nga PHP 0.7110/kWh. Bisan pa nga adunay pagkunhod sa variable charges gikan sa atong mga Independent Power Producers (IPPs), usa sa atong mga nag-unang IPP (Independent Power Producers) — nga nagtugot ug dakong bahin sa atong contracted capacity — miagi ug Scheduled Preventive Maintenance Shutdown (PMS) sukad Marso 1 hangtod 21, 2025. Tungod niini, napugos kita sa pagkuha ug dugang nga kuryente gikan sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), diin mas taas ang presyo tungod sa dako nga demand ug limitado nga supply sa maong panahon.

Gawas pa niini, usa pa ka hinungdan sa pagsaka sa among Generation Rate mao ang pagkunhod sa atong energy sales, tungod kay usa sa atong big-load customers naghinay sa ilang produksiyon. Kini nga mga hinungdan misangpot sa pagsaka sa Generation Rate nga PHP 0.5793/kWh.
