Kamo among gipahinumdum nga karung petsa – 3 sa Mayo, 2024 ipahigayon ang pinasahing ika-54 nga ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP ASSEMBLY (AGMA) ug Ika-56 anyos nga kasumaran sa pagkahimugso sa atong Kooperatiba.

Kini pagahimoon pinaagi sa gitawag nga Hybrid Sequential AGMA District Meetings ug ipahigayon sa matag Distrito ug tapuson kini pinaagi sa usa ka Franchise-Wide Hybrid Assembly.

Ang usa ka “HYBRID” MEETING – mao ang hiniusang pagpadagan sa AGMA diin nagamit ug Zoom Modality o Virtual nga pamaagi ug naghatag usab ug usa ka simultaneous VIEWING VENUE | CENTER diin naka project ang virtual meeting alang niadtong dili maka-apil sa VIRTUAL tungud kay wala silay mga aparato ug gadget sa pag-apil o alang niadtong mga technology-challenged nato nga mga MCO. Bisan niini, makaapil gihapon sila sa sa live nga mga messages and videos, deliberation of resolutions ug plenary session sama gihapon nga apil sila sa hawanan sa asembleya.

NOTICE OF 2024 AGMA, DATES, VIEWING CENTERS, ZOOM LINKS OF DISTRICT ASSEMBLIES

TO OUR VALUED MEMBER-CONSUMER-OWNERS (MCOs):

We would like to remind you that next month – MAY 2024, the 54th ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP ASSEMBLY (AGMA) and the 56th anniversary of the establishment of our Electric Cooperative will be held.

This will be conducted through what we call Hybrid Sequential AGMA District Meetings and will be held in each District, culminating in a Franchise-Wide Hybrid Assembly.

A “HYBRID” MEETING is a combined physical gathering for the AGMA utilizing Zoom Modality or Virtual means, and will provide simultaneous VIEWING VENUES | CENTERS where the virtual meeting will be projected for those unable to participate virtually due to lack of equipment or technological challenges. Despite this, they can still participate through live messages and videos, deliberation of resolutions, and plenary sessions as part of the assembly.

ADDITIONAL AGENDA DURING THE BUSINESS MEETING:

  1. SUPPLEMENTAL ON POLICY FOR HIRING OF MORESCO-1 EMPLOYEES

MORESCO-1 joins the nation in commemoration of 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor)

MORESCO-1 joins the nation in commemoration of 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) today, April 9, 2024.

This 2024, the Filipino people are invited to participate in the commemoration activities for the 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan and the 2024 Philippine Veterans Week. Spearheaded by the Department of National Defense and the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office in collaboration with various government agencies, this year’s celebrations will run from April 5 to April 11, 2024, showcasing the valor and heroism of our Filipino veterans.

Under the theme “Pagpaparangal sa Kagitingan ng mga Beterano: Saligan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino,” this year’s activities aim to emphasize the importance of honoring the bravery and sacrifices of our veterans in today’s society. The overarching goal is to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy today and foster unity among the Filipino people, inspiring collective efforts toward a brighter future. 

The highlight of the veterans’ week observance, the commemoration of 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan, will take place on April 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the Mount Samat National Shrine,Pilar, Bataan. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will lead the activities, including a wreath-laying ceremony at the Dambana ng Kagitingan to honor Filipino and American veterans of World War II. The event will also provide an opportunity for the President to address the Filipino veterans’ community and reaffirm the government’s commitment to their welfare.

On April 10, 2024, the public is invited to join the Joint Tribute to all Filipino Heroes – Paggunita sa Capas at 9:00 AM at the Capas National Shrine, Capas, Tarlac. To conclude the Philippine Veterans Week, families of veterans will gather at the Libingan ng mga Bayani for the Sunset Ceremony on April 11, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The ceremony will include a Eucharistic Mass and a solemn program where guests can share personal reflections on how the veterans in their families have impacted their lives.
