Due to signing of Proclamation No. 425, declaring Tuesday, 26 December 2023, A Special (Non-Working) Day Through Out The Country, MORESCO-1 Offices and Paying Stations will be closed  for the long weekend and Christmas holiday from Saturday, December 23, 2023, and will resume on WEDNESDAY | DECEMBER  27, 2023.

MORESCO-1 ESDM declares YELLOW ALERT STATUS over its franchise area

The entire Northern Mindanao region has been placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 based on PAGASA’s latest weather advisory as of 5:00pm, December 17, 2023. Forecast track of Tropical Depression Kabayan indicate the center of TD Kabayan to be in the coastal waters of Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental by 2:00pm, December 18, 2023.

It is in this juncture, MORESCO-1 Engineering Services Department Manager Engr. Collen B. Tarcelo, aligned with M1’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Management Protocol / M1 Emergency Response Plan, declared the entire M1 Franchise under YELLOW ALERT STATUS.

YELLOW ALERT STATUS ( One stage below Red Alert Status.) The ESDM designates further that a state of increased preparedness for possible crisis situations. Under this condition all linemen including support groups are required to prepare for ON-CALL DUTY. Thus, leaves unless emergency are no more allowed.
