PHP 11.0798 /KWH.

Dala kini sa pagsaka sa variable cost sa pipila nato ka mga IPP Suppliers labi na sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (kun WESM), diin tataw kayo ang pagsaka sa demand o panginahanglanon sa kuryente sa tibuok nasud. Anaa usab sa mga gibalita nga ang Luzon ug Visayas Grid anaa sa Red ug Yellow Alert Status, pasabot nga ang ilang supply sa kuryente, nagkaubos na usab  epekto mao ang pagtaas usab sa balor sa kuryente

Bisan man tuod ug misaka ang Generation Rate balor ug PhP 0.1880/kWh ug ang Transmission Rate balor ug PhP 0.0982 kWh, aduna usay pag-ubos sa System Loss Rate nga mukabat ug PHP 0.356 / kWh.

Kini nga mga makanunayong kausaban mi resulta sa atong effective rate karung bulana ngadto sa PHP 11.0798 / kWh alang sa mga Residential nga konsumidor.

Sa kasamtangang bahin, kini ang taripa sa uban natong consumers:

LOW VOLTAGE CONSUMERS – Ang Low Voltage adunay kinatibuk’ang pag-saka ug PHP 0.2862 matag KwH nga adunay effective rate balor ug Php 10.1681/ kWh.

(Ang LOW VOLTAGE CONSUMERS mao kadtong mga konektado sa kuryente nga gi-tap sa secondary lines sa MORESCO-1 o kadtong mga linya nga molabay human sa mga transformer. Ang mga linya sa low voltage nagdala og rango sa 240 hangtud 480 volts sa kuryente. Pipila sa mga ehemplo mao ang mga gamay nga komersyal, mga street light, ug uban pang mga pampublikong pasilidad).

HIGH VOLTAGE CONSUMERS – Ang High Voltage adunay kinatibuk’ang pag-saka balor ug PHP0.1792 ug adunay effective rate balor ug PhP9.1947/ kWh ug demand rate PhP 618.9456 / Kw (with VAT).

Ang HIGH VOLTAGE CONSUMERS mao kadtong mga gumagamit nga ang ilang koneksyon sa kuryente gi-tap sa primary lines sa MORESCO-1 o kadtong mga linya nga molabay sa unahan sa transformer. Ang mga linya sa high voltage nagdala og 7.62 kilovolts (kV), 13.2 kV o 23 kV nga kuryente. Pipila sa mga ehemplo mao ang dagko nga komersyal, mga planta ug mga espesyal nga operasyon nga adunay industrial nga load.

JOB OBJECTIVE

• Provide the Cooperative with a study on the adequate revenue requirement for the Cooperative’s financial viability by engaging added services and other revenue, and marketing activities during the IMEM, WESM, open access, and Retail Electricity Supply.

• Develops retail electric rates to meet utility revenue requirements, and prepares utility rate analyses, forecasts and technical cost of service studies for review by the Management.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts complex and specialized rate design studies including cost-of-service, rate of return on investment, and tariff structure equity.

• Develops and recommends proposed rate changes to the Manager to endure a favorable financial position for electric rates; assists in the preparation of written technical reports on rate changes of electricity upon approval by ERC, implements rate and regulation changes.

• Ensures that rate design policies are consistent with sound business, financial and economic principles and follow ERC orders.

• Provide technical rate-making assistance to the Energy Trading Supervisor.

• Conduct study to ensure true cost recovery

• Assists in the preparation of the utilities annual budget, develops sales and revenue forecasts on electricity.

• Assists in planning and conducting cost-effective studies of innovative rate designs such as time-of-use rates, and wheeling rates.

• Assists in the preparation of data and testimony for the presentation of important issues as well as rate changes to the ERC

• Monitors rate and regulatory rulings of regulatory agencies, and informs the Management on trends in “changes in the art of ratemaking” and legislation that affects operations

• Participates and works with other government agencies and EC’s or organizations on technical studies to achieve goals of mutual benefits and needs.

• Participates in developing and administering rate contracts with customers as needed.

• Develops rates on other revenue requirement.

• Prepares rate analyses, forecasts and technical cost of service traded during the IMEM, WESM or open access.

• Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of Statistics, Economics or any Business related course.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience .

• Preferably with a background on the electric power industry and knowledge of policies and regulations applicable to ECs and the industry.

• Resident within the franchise area.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work independently on diverse projects

• Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essentials of the job

• Must be proficient in written and oral communication skills and adept in business correspondence.

• Good interpersonal skills and team-player.

• Shares the vision and mission of the cooperative, and demonstrates behavior consistent with the cooperative’s core values.

MORESCO-1 celebrates National Flag Days (May 28 to June 12, 2024)

On March 6, 1965, Presidential Proclamation No. 374 was issued declaring May 28 as National Flag Day to commemorate the date the national emblem was first unfurled after the Philippine Revolutionary Army defeated the Spanish fores in the Battle at Alapan, Imus, Cavite in 1898. On May 23, 1994, Executive Order No. 179 was issued extending the period of celebrating National Flag Day from May 28 to June 12. All Filipinos are encouraged to display the Philippine flag in all offices, agencies and instruments of government, business establishments, schools, and private homes throughout this period.

Today, let us raise our flag and give salute to them for their bravery and compassion.
