Last February 18-20, 2020 the NEA Board of Administrators and Executive Officials gathered for a series of meetings in MORESCO-1 Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental to discuss a wide range of business concerns affecting the power industry.

On January 2, 2020, 12 MORESCO-1 linemen were deployed to Capiz and Aklan, both in Visayas, to rehabilitate electricity connections that were downed by Ursula. They were joined by other electric cooperatives nationwide in a bayanihan effort.
