MAO KINI ANG ATONG “POWER RATES UPDATE” alang sa atong mga RESIDENTIAL CONSUMERS para sa Billing Month sa Oktobre  2022 —- Php15.7635 /kWh.

Adunay pagsaka sa presyo sa kuryente balor ug Php 0.1842 kada kWh (Alang sa mga Residential Consumers) tungod kay ang Generation Rate misaka usab. Sa samang bahin, tataw kayo nga naapektohan sa maong pagsaka ang nagpabilin nga galastohan (variable costs) sa Generation ug IPP suppliers tungud sa pagtaas sa fuel (coal ug diesel) nga mahimong sugnud sa pagmugna sa gahum sa elektrisidad.

Gusto natong ipahinumdom sa tanang mga MCOs nga ang taripa sa MORESCO-1 striktong ginapasubay ug gina-regulate sa Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). Maong ang atuang Power Bill Computation naka-base sa mga balaud nga gina-pagawas sa ERC, kung diin:

  1. GENERATION, TRANSMISSION ug GOVERNMENT CHARGES – Ihan-ay kini isip mga “Pass-Through Costs”.

Tungod kay ang MORESCO-1 usa ka non-stock, non-profit, service oriented nga kooperatiba sa serbisyo sa kuryente, dili kita pwede magpa-tubo or magka-profit. 2. DISTRIBUTION CHARGE

Kini mao ang galastohan sa pag-apud-apud sa kuryente nga mupa-ingon sa atuang MORESCO-1. Isip usa ka non-stock, non-profit, service oriented nga kooperatiba sa kuryente, ang taripa dili pwede magpa-ginansya, dapat igu lamang para sa atuang Operation, Maintenance ug Capital Expenditure Projects. Kini naka-basi sa ERC Rules for Setting Electric Cooperatives’ Wheeling Rates (RSEC-WR).

Kung tan-awon ang pag-taas sa taripa nga mukabat Php 0.1842  kada kWh alang sa mga residential customers gi-detalye sa mosunod:

1) Generation Rate MISAKA balor ug Php 0.2105 /kWh

2) Transmission Rate MISAKA balor ug Php 0.0282/kWh

3) Systems Loss Rate MISAKA balor ug Php 0.0458 /kWh

LOW VOLTAGE CONSUMERS – Ang Low Voltage adunay kinatibuk’ang pag-saka ug 0.2067 nga adunay effective rate balor ug Php14.7743 /kWh.

HIGH VOLTAGE CONSUMERS – Ang High Voltage adunay kinatibuk’ang pag-saka ug 0.0583 ug adunay effective rate balor ug Php14.0205 /kWh.

MORESCO -1’s Big Loads Forum slated on November 29, Tuesday

Taking into account, the current energy landscape; providing updates to its high and low voltage consumers (HV/LV) and the local government units within our franchise area, MORESCO-1 will schedule its Big Loads Forum on Tuesday, November 29, after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

The forum which was originally scheduled on November 10, and was postponed to the new date , will also present the Power Supply Outlook, Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA), a look into the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), Net Metering, Green Energy Option Program (GEOP) and the electric cooperative’s future proofing plans.

The speakers of the Forum comes from the pool of core experts of MORESCO-1 namely, Engr. Collen B. Tarcelo, Engineering Services Department Manager; Engr. Joni Jane F. Cabantac, Corporate Planning Department Manager; and Engr. Jovel B. Ubay-Ubay, MORESCO-1’s General Manager.

There will also be a recognition to our partner HV and LV consumers for their valuable support to MORESCO-1 and consistently establishing strong service provider – power consumer relationship with the EC and for those LGUs that upholds the true spirit of collaboration, reflective of its major role in local governance, drawing strength and focus from quality local legislation in their respective communities.

The Forum is spearheaded by the Institutional Services Department (ISD) thru the Member Customer Development Chief and the Corporate Public Relations Office.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the System and Database Administrator in ensuring that the Cooperative Business Processes are provided with an up-to-date and highly effective systems.

• Assist the system and Database Administrator in administering proper and appropriate utilization of running automated systems and ensuring strict and appropriate security of information including protection from viruses

• Assist the Systems and Database Administrator in ensuring proper and appropriate and management of systems database

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related course

• At least 3 years experience to Application Systems, IT infrastructure and Network Design functions

• Highly knowledgeable in current information technologies and trends

• Resident within the franchise area
