
Manticao Central School, Manticao, Misamis Oriental (March 21, 2026) – Engr. Dominique C. Asok, former Manager of the Manticao Service Area of MORESCO-1, has been re-elected as Board Director representing District 2 (Manticao) for a second term, following his proclamation at 9:00 AM during the district elections held at Manticao Central School.
At 59, Engr. Asok is a registered Electrical Engineer and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of San Jose–Recoletos in Cebu City. He is married to Helen Castillo-Asok of Aloran, Misamis Occidental, and they are blessed with a son, Trojan Dei (TJ).
Engr. Asok began his journey with MORESCO-1 in the early 2000s, initially contributing to the development of the then newly organized MORESCHORALE. Through years of dedicated service, he rose through the ranks and served as Special Equipment Services Chief before his appointment as Manticao Service Area Manager in December 2020. In this role, he played a key part in strengthening the capabilities of barangay and federated Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) across Lugait, Manticao, Naawan, Initao, and Libertad, reinforcing their vital role in advancing rural electrification under the evolving EPIRA environment.
Running unopposed, Engr. Asok was officially proclaimed by the District Election Committee (DECOM), chaired by Anthony Y. Pacamalan, with Secretary Imelda Gallarita and member Marcel Tagalogon, in the presence of MORESCO-1 General Manager Engr. Collen B. Tarcelo, PEE, OIC–Institutional Services Department Manager Marebec O. Cagalawan, Engineering Services Department Manager Marlon P. Guinita, and the Manticao Service Area Customer Welfare Team alongside Team WISDom, which supervised the conduct of elections across the franchise area.
Director Asok is set to formally take his oath of office during the Hybrid Sequential District Assembly for District 2 on April 30, 2026.
