MORESCO-1 was formally recognized as one of the awardees during the “Pasidungog sa mga Kaabag sa Panaghiusa,” an awarding ceremony organized by the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, in recognition of its exemplary support, strong partnership, and sustained collaboration with the provincial government.
The recognition underscores MORESCO-1’s vital role in advancing the province’s development initiatives, particularly in ensuring reliable electric service that supports inclusive growth, economic activity, and community development. The award further affirms the cooperative’s consistent commitment to working alongside government institutions in the pursuit of shared development goals.
MORESCO-1 was recognized alongside the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development–10 (DEPDev-10), Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development–10 (DHSUD-10), Philippine Statistics Authority–10 (PSA-10), and other national government agencies—highlighting the strength of inter-agency collaboration anchored on people-centered governance, unity, and sustainable development.
Under the leadership of Board of Directors President Joy Gil S. Mahinay and General Manager Collen B. Tarcelo, PEE, MORESCO-1 expressed its gratitude for the honor and reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening its partnership with the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, in pursuit of a well-governed, resilient, and progressive province.
The award was received on behalf of MORESCO-1 by Ms. Marebec O. Cagalawan, Officer-in-Charge, Institutional Services Department.
