MORESCO-1 line workers recognized by McDonalds Philippines as front liners. Through Mr. Elmer Delen, Program Assistant of Ronald McDonalds House Charities, McDonalds Philippines sponsored 200 packed meals for the MORESCO-1 front liners.
MORESCO-1, while a non-stock and non-profit electric cooperative, will be subsidizing 35, 740 residential lifeline consumers equivalent to 5 million pesos with the Pantawid Liwanag Program. Bringing to life the goal of providing service beyond electricity, MORESCO-1, through this program aims to not only aid its member-consumer-owners during this time of crisis but also be in solidarity with them.
Last March 6, 2020, General Manager Jovel B. Ubay-ubay together with the management Committee officially awarded Php 25,000 to Mr. Ronron L. Erestingcol, the first place winner of the poster making contest held during MORESCO-1’s 50th Founding Anniversary. Mr. Erestingcol is a resident of Barangay Hinigdaan, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
