Human sa pagtuki sa atong Screening Committee alang sa Piniliay nato sa Representante sa Hunta Direktiba sa atong District 10 (Opol & 5 CDO brgys) karung Sabado, Agosto 20, 2022, kamo gipahibalo nga aduna kitay usa ra ka Qualified Candidate nga mudagan isip magpa pili isip Board of Director.

Busa usa kini ka UNCONTESTED Election. Busa ang atong official candidate mao si:

Ato lamang nga pormal nga paga-abrehan ang atong gitagana nga ballot box karong Sabado ( Agosto 20) sa alas otso ( 08:00hs ) sa buntag, i-hulog ang bisan 3 – 5 lamang ka mga official ballots nga i-cast arun ma-tala nga nahitabo gayud ang usa ka election. Dinha na dayun i-proklama ug i-hurar ang napili nga kandidato (midaug).

Namalihug kami nga pag-tamud sa gihapon pagsul-ob ug mga face-mask ug istriktong sundon ang gimantala nan ga mga health protocols.

MORESCO-1 SCREENING COMMITTEE

Awarded with seven NEA awards just recently, Misamis Oriental-1 Rural Electric Service Cooperative, Inc. once again bagged six awards and 2 distinctions in Day 3 the recently concluded 2022 Annual General Membership Meeting of the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. or PHILRECA from August 10 to 13, 2022 at the Iloilo Convention Center, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The Awards from the Wire has been a tradition every PHILRECA general membership assembly which celebrates electric cooperatives (ECs) nationwide and its other partners for their service to the Filipinos.

PHILRECA is celebrating its 43^rd Anniversary with the theme: “LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND: Achieving Total Electrification and Realizing Social Equitability thru Empowerment of the Rural Communities”

The awards and distinctions that were conferred to MORESCO-1 were the following:

BASTION OF EXCELLENCE AWARD – For being an EC with the lowest on-grid systems loss in its operations while in pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.

PROMPT PAYOR AWARD – For its initiative to contribute in the prompt payments to its amortizations in the rural electrification program.

SILVER STELLAR AWARD – For attaining a high collection efficiency despite the constraint and restrictions. This achievement was reached with determination, perseverance and diligence, and resulted to the financial stability and sustainability of the electric cooperative.

SPECIAL CITATION FOR LAUDABLE COMMITMENT TO THE ADVOCACY AWARD – For being a model EC that has embodied a strong commitment to the goals of the rural electrification movement.

STRONG COMMITMENT TO THE BROTHERHOOD AWARD – For its unwavering support and upholding the true spirit of bayanihan, reflective of its philanthropic benevolence in assisting brother cooperatives through PHILRECA Task Force Kapatid, enabling them to rise again after the onslaught of natural calamities and be able to provide excellent service to the member-consumer-owners.

SUPREME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD –For being an on-grid electric cooperative with the lowest systems loss in Mindanao and for ensuring a reliable system in its operations while in pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.

IRON PILLAR AWARD – For the active engagement and participation to the trainings, webinars and other activities of PHILRECA in the pursuit of Rural Electrification and Development amidst all challenges confronting the rural electrification movement.

LIMELIGHT AWARD – For being the front runner in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all challenges confronting the rural electrification movement. With determination, perseverance and diligence, the Electric Cooperative was able to attain a high level of energization status in its coverage areas.

The premier electric cooperative in the country, MORESCO-1 together with the leadership of PHILRECA extend its gratitude to all the other delegates who attended PHILRECA’s Convention this year, to see each other, and celebrate its triumphs together, face-to-face, again. May we all continue to be the beacon of light to the communities, and member-consumer-owners we serve.

MAO KINI ANG ATONG “POWER RATES UPDATE” alang sa atong mga RESIDENTIAL CONSUMERS para sa Billing Month sa Hulyo 2022 —- Php13.4921/kWh.

Adunay pagsaka sa presyo sa kuryente balor ug Php0.0321 kada kWh tungod kay ang Generation Rate misaka usab. Sa samang bahin, tataw kayo nga naapektohan sa maong pagsaka ang nagpabilin nga galastohan (variable costs) sa Generation ug IPP suppliers tungud sa pagtaas sa fuel (coal ug diesel) nga mahimong sugnud sa pagmugna sa gahum sa elektrisidad.

Gusto natong ipahinumdom sa tanang mga MCOs nga ang taripa sa MORESCO-1 striktong ginapasubay ug gina-regulate sa Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). Maong ang atuang Power Bill Computation naka-base sa mga balaud nga gina-pagawas sa ERC, kung diin:

1. GENERATION, TRANSMISSION ug GOVERNMENT CHARGES – Ihan-ay kini isip mga “Pass-Through Costs”. Tungod kay ang MORESCO-1 usa ka non-stock, non-profit, service oriented nga kooperatiba sa serbisyo sa kuryente, dili kita pwede magpa-tubo. Kung unsa gayud ang tinuod ug tataw nga palit sa pag-angkat sa kuryente gikan sa mga Power Generation Companies, mga gasto sa atong pag-gamit sa mga High Voltage Power Lines sa NGCP para maabot ang gipang-angkat nga kuryente ni MORESCO-1 sa iyang mga substations ug ang buluwisan sa kuryente, mao lamang sab ang sukton ug walay bisan pila ka sentimo nga nadugang.

2. DISTRIBUTION CHARGE – Kini mao ang galastohan sa pag-apud-apud sa kuryente nga mupa-ingon sa atuang MORESCO-1. Isip usa ka non-stock, non-profit, service oriented nga kooperatiba sa kuryente, ang taripa dili pwede magpa-ginansya, dapat igu lamang para sa atuang Operation, Maintenance ug Capital Expenditure Projects. Kini naka-basi sa ERC Rules for Setting Electric Cooperatives’ Wheeling Rates (RSEC-WR).

Kung tan-awon ang pag-taas sa taripa nga mukabat Php0.0321 kada kWh alang sa mga residential customers gi-detalye sa mosunod:

1) Generation Rate MITAAS balor ug Php0.1090/kWh

2) Transmission Rate MIUBOS balor ug Php0.0119/kWh

3) Systems Loss Rate MIUBOS balor ug Php0.0162/kWh

Mi’resulta sa atong effective residential consumer rate balor ug Php13.4921/kWh.

Samtang and Low Voltage adunay kinatibuk’ang pag-saka ug 0.0865 nga adunay effective rate balor ug Php12.6494/kWh samtang ang High Voltage adunay kinatibuk’ang pag-saka ug 0.0840 ug adunay effective rate balor ug Php11.8774/kWh.
