PRC, MORESCO-1, IIEE-CDO shares gifts of joys to Sitio Tacotac kids

A ride-on “gift-giving” CSR activity was conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) of Cagayan de Oro City, MORESCO-1 and the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineer (IIEE-CDO) in Sitio Tacotac, San Isidro, Talakag in Bukidnon. The event was specifically designed to bring joy to the local children between the ages of 5 and 12. The journey to the event was an adventure in itself while energizing the 22 houses recipient of Dan’ag: Light-A-Home Project of MORESCO-1 and Aboitiz Foundation in the same locality.

Upon arrival, the children were greeted with a festive atmosphere and the excitement was palpable. A total of 30 children were in attendance and were given a set of school supplies, notebooks, pad papers, and sweet goodies. The children’s eyes lit up with joy as they received their gifts, and the organisers could see the impact that this small act of kindness had on the children and their families.

MORESCO-1 celebrates National Womens’ Month

“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” —Diane Mariechild

The Pioneer Electric Cooperative of the Philippines joins the National Women’s Month Celebration for the whole month of March with the theme: LIPUNANG PATAS SA BAGONG PILIPINAS: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!

It’s truly a moment to acknowledge and honor the invaluable contributions of every woman within the movement. Their sacrifices have paved the way for the triumphs and achievements that will forever mark the history of rural electrification.

The absence of women is unimaginable in our world. Whether as mothers, sisters, daughters, or friends, they play pivotal roles in our lives. Balancing home and work effortlessly, they never shy away from their responsibilities.

Their presence enriches our lives and guides us towards a brighter tomorrow. As we celebrate Women’s Month, and every day of the year, let’s ensure to express gratitude to the women in our lives for their remarkable contributions.
